V.A. Non Service Connected Pension Amounts for 2014 (The “Aid and Attendance Benefit”)

The V.A. has authorized a 1.015% cost of living adjustment (COLA) for recipients of the Non-Service Connected Pension, more commonly referred to as the “Aid and Attendance” benefit.  The amounts moving forward are as follows:

                                          $  1,288/Monthly                 
·        Married Veteran:         $19,380/Annual                
                                          $  1,615/Monthly                 
·        Surviving Spouse:       $10,046/Annual                
                                          $    864/Monthly                   
Base Pension:
·        Single Veteran:           $12,256/Annual                
                                          $  1,054/Monthly                 
  • Married Veteran:         $16,051/Annual
$  1,381/Monthly
·        Surviving Spouse:       $  8,219/Annual
