Since joining Meurer & Potter Law Office in early 2011, Matthew has been providing his clients legal services in the areas of estate planning, Medicaid planning, elder law and probate. Matthew graduated from Harvard with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government in 2002. Thereafter, he attended the Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, graduating in 2005 as the graduating class’s Vice President.

Matthew is licensed to practice in both the State and Federal Courts of Colorado and Oregon. Matthew brings a versatile background to Meurer & Potter Law Office, having practiced in virtually every major area of the law. Matthew’s career highlights include an appellate victory on reversal in the published opinion Hickam v. Hickam and co-chairing a meritorious five-day jury trial against the Oregon Department of Human Services for their negligence in allowing a little girl to be severely beaten by a man not established by the agency to be her father and a known drug user.

Matthew works in conjunction with Michael T. Meurer, founder of Meurer & Potter Law Office, PC, to ensure the highest quality estate plan for his clients. His services include, Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Asset Protection Planning, Probate, Will Contests, Estate and Trust litigation, Estate and Trust Administration, Supplemental Needs and Disability Trusts, and Guardianships and Conservatorships.
